How to Use a Pendulum for Reiki
Pendulum and Reiki go beautifully together. Most Reiki healers use pendulums to answer questions and to perhaps measure the health of a chakra. There is, however, so much more possible. The pendulum itself can be used as an energy healing tool that can have a synergistic effect on a Reiki healing so that the two methods are stronger when combined.
Here is how you can use your pendulum for Reiki:
Prepare the person and the room: You can use the pendulum to prepare the person for the Reiki session, as well as prepare the room for the session. You do this by shifting energies and healing the chakra and auras. I will show you the chakra method at the end of this article.
Stimulate a healing response. To do this, you use the pendulum itself directly by rotating it over the person, and or you combine it with the spoken word that is energized by the rotating pendulum. Your words can energetically influence the person and stimulate healing.
You can address issues directly and indirectly that can result in healing. This could be using the pendulum to directly promote healing, or to help to change some peripheral issue that is effecting or influencing health. For example, the pendulum can help to stimulate a change in a person’s life or help to make some situation work out. It can support standard medical care, help to heal a relationship, or help a person to do something else like getting a job. Things that Reiki aren’t typically used for.
You can use the pendulum to promote spiritual healing. The method I teach has you do things for the highest good of all concerned. A rising tide lifts all ships. Helping others who are energetically connected to you, or the person receiving Reiki (regardless of how you feel about them), will help you spiritually heal.
You can use the pendulum to send Reiki, and you can use it to help the person integrate the healing.
You can use it to heal your Reiki lineage and improve the flow or Reiki energy to you.
You can also use it to attract new students, to make classes and training more successful by harmonizing relationships and raising the vibe. You can use the pendulum to call in perfect people who can become new students and clients.
Using a Pendulum to Prepare a Person for Reiki
Before the session you can prepare the person by healing their chakras and aura.
You will need a special high energy pendulum for this. Look at my pendulums page on this website to see examples of what these look like.
Take the pendulum and slowly move it over each chakra and any area of the body where there is an injury. Simply let the pendulum rotate for a short time (say 10-20 rotations max) and then move to the next chakra or site of dis-ease. This will stimulate healing of the energy field. See the example of the sacral chakra below.

Now you can do Reiki. Since the chakras and energy body are healed, your Reiki energy will flow without impediment directly to any areas that require it. This results in a more efficient and effective session, since the Reiki doesn’t need to work to heal the energy body and chakras. It can go directly to the trouble areas.
